Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros 's new album "Here" has been released today. I've been waiting for it for 3 years ago actually , since 2009's release of " Up from Below " and i admit that i've been listening to the new album for the last 3 days and still can't choose a favourite. Every song is like a lethal amount of happiness and it just makes you wanna take your loved one by the hand and get lost together in this mad world :)
Alex Ebert, the music genius behind Edward Sharpe, recently told an interviewer from the Washington Post that he had no interest in the Zeros being the equivalent of “the 60s ride at Disneyland.” While some might say that their Americana authenticity grows equivalent to the length of Ebert’s beard, others believe that their illustrative music will stay pertinent for ages to come, i shall hope so :)
